The village overlooks the famous Glandore Harbour with it's unique seascapes and unspoilt countryside. It has great charm with it's brightly painted cottages and steepled Churches.

The small fleet of fishing boats are always a great attraction to visitors.

Two grocers and a craft shop are centrally located with the Post Office providing foreign exchange facilities.

Several of the village bars offer a wonderful variety of bar food including locally caught seafood.
